If we needed work done to the condo he had experience in home building previously so he knew what needed to be done and also knew the correct and trustworthy contractors to complete the work quick and for a good price. He always went out of his way to get as many views as possible of our condo. When we went to buy a new house he was very responsive, but most importantly ambitious to find us a home. Other realtors can become complacent. Mike was always available to show us homes and with his construction background he was very knowledgeable on what to look for while looking at homes. Overall, we had an extremely positive experience working with Michael. About 6 weeks before we “really” started looking at homes, we didn’t know what type of home we wanted or our most desired neighborhoods. Michael set up showing at 6 different homes solely to show us neighborhoods and let us get a feel for the type of home we wanted. This made all the difference for us a few weeks later. From start to finish, Michael was easy to work with and available anytime we had questions. He did a great job walking us through the process. Mike helped me purchase my first home in July of 2017. Overall I'm really glad I had him with me every step of the way, especially as a first time home buyer. Before he officially became my agent he agreed to sit down with me over a beer to discuss the whole home buying process in detail at a great place he recommended which was also in the neighborhood I wanted to buy. It immediately became clear that he was super personable, which made touring homes a lot more enjoyable also. He was very knowledgeable of the area I wanted to purchase in Englewood. One thing I liked during the touring process was that Mike would kind of summarize my chaotic thoughts back to me for each home. He never pressured me into anything I didn't want, but would always explain the need to make quick decisions depending on the status of the home (something that might go quick vs something we could sit on). Once we made an offer and I began the process of signing tons of documentation, he was always ready to explain things to help me better understand. Mike also was ready with tons of connections on the contracting side of things when I started rattling off all the crazy ideas I had to update the home. After I moved in Mike also followed up multiple times just to see how everything was going, which was nice. Ultimately, I was extremely pleased with my home purchase and just as pleased with how much Mike supported/helped me through the process. As a first-time home buyer, the scariest part of the process was finding a realtor I could trust.
