Platt Park Restaurants - Kaos

Kaos Pizza, a Platt Park staple on Old South Pearl St., is a brilliant spot located right in my neighborhood. My wife, Lexi, and I love making pizza at home on our Traeger, a wood pellet grill and smoker. It has turned into a fun go-to for having friends or clients over – when was the last time you were unhappy at a Pizza Party? Never! Ok, maybe you haven’t been to one since you were a toddler, but still!

Back to the good stuff – as I rolled into Kaos (@kaospizzeriadenver) my goal was simple, pick up the quality dough. Forty-five minutes later I left smiling ear to ear. I asked the guy working the counter about the pizza dough and the best ways to prepare home-cooked pizza. Next thing I know he invites me into the back where all the magic happens! I watched the pizza god throw the pie 10 feet in the air like a Globetrotter spins a basketball, I was in awe. Amazing!

Whether you are dining in at their cozy restaurant or dining out to make your own signature pie, take the time to chat with the staff – you never know where they will take you. More neighborhood gems to come.
